RALEIGH MITZVAH PHOTOGRAPHER | TEMPLE BETH OR | GOLUB FAMILY

for reals...

Here's the thing... I love my job.

Through being a photographer, I have met SO many amazing people and been able to photograph so many events and milestones. One of the best things though that's happened, has been getting to know my new Temple Beth Or Family. I see them now so often, they really are truly becoming like family. Each time I get to photograph another one, I get to catch up on the goings on and give out big hugs and see how people are doing and meet their extended families. We smile, we snap pics, and we laugh... a lot. I've started staying inside the sanctuary during ceremonies (pictures are not allowed during the actual ceremony) and every time I do, I find a happiness and peace that's just... family. The only word I can think of is family.

the golub family

This particular family is no exception. I had seen Dana at so many Mitzvah celebrations over the last year or so that when it came time to photograph her son Noah's celebration, I felt like we had known each other for years! Coffee got us through the portraits early in the morning and laughter got us through the rest of the day. Noah did a WONDERFUL job with his Torah portion and his speech, but you could tell he was ready to party it up! The reception was held at King's at North Hills, where the kiddos could bowl, dance, play pool or darts or ping pong, and the adults had their own private lanes with their own adult beverages! There was pizza and cake and glow sticks and lollipops, it was amazing! The photo booth, provided by Get In Photobooth, was hopping all night and Kate, the DJ behind Across the Pond DJ Entertainment, was rocking as always! She had hula hoops and tunes ready all night!

Noah... Mazel Tov to you, my friend!! YOU DID IT and you ROCKED it!!! Congrats on becoming bar mitzvah, your family and friends are so gosh darn proud of you!!
