RALEIGH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | 1705 EAST | CAITLYN AND EVAN

dear blog… welcome back!

It’s been awhile. I’ve neglected you and treated you poorly. We all have our moments, and for that… I apologize.

BUT I’M BACK!!! And we’re starting out with a bang!!

caitlyn and evan

This completely attractive and so-not-fair-how-nice-they-are couple is Caitlyn and Evan. They were married this past November 17th and it was SOOOO much fun to be a part of!

I actually met them a year and a half before that when they were models at a Valentine's Day styled shoot I was a part of. They had just gotten engaged and we were in the woods with candles and roses and chocolate… we all felt a bit awkward yet we had so many laughs together! That experience was so inspiring that it prompted them to hire me for their actual wedding! WAHOOO!!!! We also did their engagement photos before the wedding… another amazing session that I neglected to blog, but trust me… they were gorgeous. Then their gorgeous wedding happened and they moved out of state and all this time passed, UGH! But now the images from this beautiful fall evening in Raleigh will be part of their memories for years to come.

their wedding

Speaking of their wedding, let’s talk about it, shall we?? The bride and groom did a first look and all of the family portraits before the wedding in front of the gorgeous venue right as the sun was setting. Caitlyn’s amazing corset bodice gown with an abundance of layers on the skirt (David's Bridal) was a show-stopper for sure! And hanging in their gorgeous bridal suite space, EEEEEEK, so pretty!! In the same fashion, the couple selected their equally exquisite rings from Diamonds Direct, one of our favorites here in the Raleigh area!

The event was held at the southern modern venue 1705 East, which was a complementary scene for both their ceremony (with heartfelt words by Andy Ross Ministry) and energetic reception (credit for which goes to DJ Mike Angel). Rocky Top Catering provided the main eats and the cakes were homemade by family, so you know everyone dined well. Guests were treated to personalized Hershey Kisses and Koozies to take home and danced the ENTIRE night! There’s no question of a fun night when the bride takes over the mike and sings karaoke and then ends with a glow stick send-off!

congratulations, caitlyn and evan!!! i wish you a lifetime of love and best of luck in your new city!
