starting 2019 off right!
This past fall was my busiest wedding season yet, hooray!!! And while it was a whirlwind of white, florals, and awesome, it gave me little time to share all the things… and edit all the things… and do all the things.
Enter in January, my friends. Time to catch up!!
First up on the list of fall awesomeness is Jennifer and Tony. I cannot get ENOUGH of this amazing couple and I wish I could hang out with them on a daily basis. Jennifer’s laugh and smile is SO INFECTIOUS, you can’t help but feel happy! Their engagement session was amazingly rainy (you can check out their Raleigh Rose Garden Rainy Engagement Session here!) but I think it only gave them amazingly good vibes for their wedding day.
jennifer and tony’s big day
Jennifer and Tony were married on October 6th of this past fall and it was GORGEOUS! They exchanged vows in front of their friends and family at Caffe Luna, an absolutely gorgeous little cafe and restaurant in downtown Raleigh. There were huge windows to show off the beautiful city around them… and the strangers that walked by and stared all got a glance at the awesomeness!
Some super fun details about the day…
Jennifer made all of the gorgeous invites, which just happened to match her wedding dress PERFECTLY. I told her she should go into business ;) Her beautiful dress was provided by Ada’s Bridal.
The bride and her ladies (plus her little guy!) all got ready at her friends’ house beforehand… in a gorgeous bedroom that included a chandelier and the most amazing wallpaper I’ve ever seen! Their Hair and Makeup artist, Deidre Mattingly, came to them… a perfect morning of pampering!
Jennifer was escorted down the aisle by her sweet little 7-year old, who was ECSTATIC to be a part of the day and had his own pink polka dot tie! He was there to witness the two exchange promises, commitments, and gorgeous rings from Fink’s Jewelers!
Tony, along with his brother, stood with his teenage son during the ceremony, whom was beaming all day for his Dad! Their suits were provided by Ticknors Mens Clothiers.
The officiant, The Reverend Jackie Gantt, is apparently a famous actor… and he did a fabulous job!
The couple had an amazing two-person band called My Cousin Skinny, who not only played for the ceremony, but played for the reception as well!
The Italian feast was incredible, and included a gorgeously classic cake by Blue Moon Bakery, adorned with flowers from TeaCup Floral, that matched the bride’s bouquet perfectly.
Their place cards were actually wine corks, adorned with eucalyptus, flowers, and a note to tell them where to go!
Their guestbook was actually a canvas where people signed their names with different colored sharpies… including random smiley faces! ;)
After all the fun, the couple went and honeymooned in France and Italy! I was suuuuuuper jealous ;)
