Taylor started her day getting ready upstairs at 214 Martin Street with her bridesmaids, her Mom, and her step mom, as well as her awesome gal pals. There was no shortage of laughing, toasting, and having a grand ol’ time! Taylor, dressed in a beautiful lace gown from Bridal World with amazing sparkly tennis shoes from Kate Spade, had help with her makeup and hair and looked absolutely STUNNING! Throw in a first look with her Dad and it was pure perfection.
Juan got ready at the Marriott Sheraton, just a few blocks away from the wedding venue, with his family and friends. Dressed in stylish blue suits from Men’s Warehouse, the boys cheered and had a few laughs and drinks together before walking down to the wedding. Thankfully, my second shooter was there to capture it all!
Right before the ceremony was to begin, Taylor received a box from her groom. Inside the beautiful chest was some perfume, along with many envelopes. The note inside said that there were envelopes for many major life moments to come, but she was only instructed to read the one labeled “wedding day”. We were all crying.
We also grabbed some beautiful details at the start of the day! Not only was Taylor’s gown captured beautifully in the big window, but the invites, save the dates, the rose gold rings from Blue Nile, and the amazingly beautiful red, white, and green florals from Brides and Bouquets. The ceremony site was also captured, with candles lining the aisle, wooden accents, and florals gathered above and below. Add in the famous market lights that Market Hall is known for, and it was breathtaking!
During the ceremony, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Both the bride and groom were teary, which then made the guests teary, which then made US teary… it was amazingly beautiful and FULL of joy!
After the family and bridal party pics were finished, we took Juan and Taylor to a local rooftop to take portraits… and actually saw a robbery happening! Talk about a memorable experience ;)
When we got back, the venue was transformed!! Rentals from Showtime Events and a LOT of candles made the place really pop, while the DJ from Stylus Events had the tunes going. In the corner were plates of donuts from Publix, as well as a cake which the bride and groom cut later on in the evening!
Some other fun details of the evening included a beautiful wooden sign for all the guests to write on, a wedding favor of beer and nuts, and an amazing pasta bar that was SO YUMMY! Taylor changed her dress so she could dance a bit easier… and there were some pretty epic dances ;)
The couple ended their night with a gorgeous sparkler exit outside under the market lights!
congrats to taylor and juan!!!
Much love to you both!!
