once upon a time…

…there was this insanely beautiful and happy couple named Kristin and Drew. They had met while in college, decided that they both really kinda liked each other, and ended up getting engaged in Hawaii, where Drew’s family is from. They decided to get married in Wilmington, NC where they lived and found this amazingly silly and super happy photographer named Audrey. Things were going to be amazing.

Kristin and Drew came ALLLLLL the way to Rolesville for their engagement pictures with Audrey (and to make a homebrew for the wedding). They played in the stream, caught a bunch of lightning bugs, and showed off their complete awesomeness. They proved how sweet their love was for each other and the three amigos spent the entire time laughing. You can see all their engagement awesomeness here if you like!

Then came the wedding.

On September 8th, they had the most gorgeous wedding, filled with old brick buildings, a beautiful picture window, and amazing Hawaiian touches. There was a steel band during cocktail hour, there were giggles from the bride as she turned the corner to walk down the aisle, there were AMAZING friends and family to party with… it was the BEST! We did a first look with the bridesmaids, there was a mosh pit during the reception, and everyone had an absolute blast. It was glorious.

Then one day, a hurricane came. In fact, just a few days after Kristin and Drew’s wedding! The hurricane came and wreaked havoc on their cute little town of Wilmington. This caused delays on getting the photos ready, which caused delays in people seeing the awesomeness, which made the poor photographer very sad.

But nevertheless, she persisted, and VOILA!!!!! Kristin and Drew’s wedding blog finally appeared, hooray!!!!!!!!! Their town sustained damage but they are all getting back on their feet and enjoying life. And they all lived happily ever after.
