warning… cooler weather pics ahead!

I can’t help but pine for the fall weather when. It’s. So. Humid. Can we time travel back to this gorgeous day at the Warren Estate last November??? It’s truly one of my favorite venues and it was SUCH a beautiful day!!! Rachel Elizabeth Event and Design planned Kayla and Brian’s wedding with a rustic theme. It was a truly picture perfect autumn wedding day with an array of beautiful, country chic details from the lanterns lining the aisle to the florals by Brandi’s Botanicals.

The bride’s dress was an elegant mermaid gown from David’s Bridal and her hair was professionally styled by family, Jessica Ellis! Kayla could not have looked more lovely. She celebrated with her bridesmaids in the bridal suite with champagne and a group prayer after getting ready. Brian and his groomsmen opted for cigars to commemorate the day.

After the ceremony, we shot all the portraits in the woods around the estate, much like we did for their engagement photos earlier last year. It was a perfectly coordinated chronicle of their love in this amazing natural setting and that light. I mean, you KNOW how I get about gorgeous sunlight!!!

Their reception also took place at Warren Estate, catered by family friends, Layton’s Catering. While there was the traditional wedding cake, the couple also chose to incorporate a small bonfire and s’mores into their dessert menu! How fun! Speaking of fun, music was provided by Josh Wilson of Stylus Wedding and he ROCKED IT! Everyone had soooo much fun on the dance floor, including all the kiddos that were present! It was truly a family wedding and just SO much fun! And I have to give a shout out to my very talented second shooter for this event, Kate Cherry.
